Climate Action & Sustainability in Higher Education Program

Dr. Ceren Sezer, Group Leader at RWTH Aachen University’s Chair and Institute for Urban Design and European Urbanism, recently participated in the Scaling Climate Action & Sustainability in Higher Education Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During her visit, she explored how sustainability is integrated into the university’s operations, research, and teaching practices.
As part of her visit, Dr. Sezer had the opportunity to discuss the crucial role universities play in driving sustainable transformation. In an insightful interview with the MIT Office of Sustainability (MITOS) team, she highlighted the impact of higher education institutions in fostering sustainability leadership and climate action.
